Mini golf, Sushi and going out!!

On a Sunday we decided to spend some family time together and what better than going mini golfing! Not to far from our house we have a mini golf course.  There is an inside one and an outside one so for those cold winter days we can go inside.  We opted for the outside golf course and away we went.  Now when it comes to real golf, I hate the putting part, yet I love mini golf.  Jordan, Caila, Lindsay and I all went and it was a pretty good time.  Some people got a little competitive…I won’t name names but all in all we had a good time.  I came in third…had a few bad holes but otherwise did well.  Jordan was our winner and well deserved he did put pretty well!  I am sure we will get there one more time to do some mini golfing inside...it is starting to get cold here now.  Here are a few pictures of them putting away!

We ended up finally getting sushi.  We had been wanting to get it for awhile and were going to try this Sushi place in Moonah but they were closed for Anzac day.  For those in the states, Anzac day is like our Memorial day back home.  Anyways off we went in search of a sushi place.  We found one in the Salamanca area and what a feast it was!  Caila and I shared a platter and some eel fried rice.  I had never had eel before and I think it is an acquired taste….still not sure if I like it.  But here are a few pictures of us and our food. 

Lastly here are a few pictures of us going out.  It had been a few weekends so we did it up pretty well.  As most of you know my favorite drink in the states is Smirnoff Raspberry and seltzer and I finally found the vodka here!!! Here are a few pictures of us before we went out and enjoyed our night on the town. 

We enjoyed our night so much that we thought it was a good idea to stay out until 4:30 in the morning.  Let’s just say the next day we all did nothing but sleep and watch movies!
